The Start of the project “Emergency action for water access in Qalqilya District”

Within the framework of the project funded by the European Commission’s Humanitarian Aid Department (ECHO) “Emergency action for water access in the Qalqilya District” that is going to be implemented by Palestinian Hydrology Group (PHG) and Asamblea de Cooperacion Por la Paz (ACPP, these two organizations announce the start of the project. This project includes the rehabilitation of 7 groundwater wells that supply water for both agricultural and domestic purposes in the following villages: Habla, Izbat Jaloud, Ras Atiya, Ras Tirah, Ad ‘Daba, Wadi Rasha and Qalqilya in Qalqilya District.

Four of the targeted groundwater wells are behind the separation wall, one in area C and two of them are in area B.
