Incursion of Gaza Strip: Beit Lahia / western area.

      These areas are completely isolated and are in direct and urgent need for basic supplies including supply of water and replacement of the damaged roof tanks.

Beit Lahia municipality will not be able to fix and replace damaged infrastructure because of the financial crisis it has been and still going through since more than five months ago and it is in need of urgent and direct support.

 

A first assessment of the current damages in the area due to the Israeli incursion and re-occupation of this area are as follows:

  1.  Total damages in the water and sanitation infrastructure is estimated to be about $174,590
  2.  Total damages in the electricity and power supply network is estimated to be about $160,000
  3.  Total damages in the roads and transportation infrastructure is estimated to be about $441,590
  4.  Total estimated damages of properties of people living in the area is about $648,000  

 

 

Interventions are needed immediately to support people in these areas.
