This is meant to try ease and reduce people's suffering and ease their movement during emergency cases and to enable them to reach locations of basic services including humanitarian and health services.
Beit Lahia Municipality is requesting support for the construction of alternative / emergency road to enable people move and reach basic daily services and ease their daily movement.
On the other hand, after the Israeli reoccupation of the Strip and the destruction of the main power center in the Strip, electricity supply is cut off for about 18 hours / day on average on several communities. This also affected directly supply of water to related communities through the water network and the municipality found itself obliged to provide water through tankers. Therefore, the municipality is also requesting support in getting a water tanker to help in provision of water to needy people currently and during emergency situation. Support is also requested for replacement of roof tanks, which is used by households for storage of daily used water, and which was a major target by Israeli forces during this current incursion.
