The Israeli Ariel Settlement in the West Bank is still affecting negatively water and environment in Bruqin community / Salfeet Governorate.

We need the international community to please hear the community's voice and do something to support the community and stop any possible health and environmental crisis that could affect the community and its people.  The number of affected people directly or indirectly is increasing every day, this means cases of malaria, ameba, cancer, and skin related diseases are increasing in the community. In addition, wild animals coming towards the waste are continuously threatening and attacking people living in the community. Bad smell polluting the environment could be smelled every where and are affecting the hygiene situation, and it is strongly believed that registered cancer cases are directly linked to flow of wastewater from this settlement.

The Ministry of Health rose up this issue in many occasions and distributed many warning reports about the serious situation in the community after several field visits. Until today, no actions are done to help remove this critical situation.

Residents of the community are calling the international community to do something to stop this continuous threat and any possible crisis that could affect the community.
